All is still well
Jensen is out of surgery (about 3:15), and Dr. Brown says it went well. The new valve is working great. One of the possible complications was that he might have to have a pacemaker if the conduction pathway was disrupted; it wasn't, and he doesn't! He is on an ECMO machine which is basically a heart/lung machine for a few days. The doctor is a little puzzled about the left side of his heart not pumping as well as he thought. The left side has been the strong side, and it wasn't operated on. So join us in praying for that. Dr. Brown thought about making the right atrium muscle smaller, but decided against that for now. He gave a range of 4 to 10 years for an update surgery on the new valve when he gets bigger. Thanks be to our God.

Eb & Wanda ...
What a wonder that Jensen is alive & doing reasonably well on Planet Earth considering his most difficult & amazing journey ! Now, as for Dr. Brown - He's definitely a Gift & Blessing directly from GOD !!! Somebody needs to find out his favorite Restaurant and buy him the meal of his choice ... Also, I like the prognosis regarding some follow-up work in 4 to 10 yrs.
