Some days we don't have too much to report. Today is different. Jensen has had several of those episodes where he is just not oxygenating properly, and his blood saturation levels in his body go down. That is obviously a problem, but at NICU, they are right there and they get him more oxygen right away. Anna talked with a doctor yesterday, and they think they may need to do some other intervention; possibly change the size of the shunt with a stent.
Today they are talking about doing another echo cardiogram to take a non-invasive look at his heart. Possibly the right side is working a little better than they thought initially, and therefore the shunt needs re sized. Maybe God has been doing some work there too! On Friday a team of Cardiologists will meet to discuss options.
Jensen needs to get well so he can go to his home. Jeff tells people that Jensen is perfect, "he just has a big heart". I agree he has so much going for him, by the grace of God, he will overcome. Thanks for praying.
