Good night for mother and child. Anna finally got to hold Jensen. The nurses wrapped him up so his lines would be protected while she held him. They both loved it and he was so calm while she was holding him. He cried when she had to put him down. God bless the nurse who set that up for her. Jeff should be able to hold him tonight.
Anna left about 2am and some of his iv's came out after that. They hadn't been able to get a picc line in, so at about 4 am he went into emergency surgery to install a central line. This tube is surgically placed in a vein near the heart. It is much more reliable and is used for the fluids and medicine he needs. Please understand that my information is second or third hand at times.
Jensen is stable and resting and back on the ventilator for awhile.

I'm so happy to hear Anna got to hold him. Can't wait for Jeff to be able to do the same.
Jensen is a beautiful baby. You are all in my prayers. Holding him is the best medicine for mom dad and baby.
