At the first of next week (maybe Monday) they will be doing a heart cath on Jensen. They will be further evaluating the heart and also putting in a stent. The stent is probably like an adult one, but many times smaller. The stent will be in the ductus arteriosus. This is unlike stenting an adult because adults don't have this artery! This is the artery that closes up after birth, but they have been keeping it open with medicine. I believe that they want to be able to discontinue the medicine after the stent so his lungs will work better.
For the weekend, he is taking it easy in his warmer, waiting for the action this coming week.
